Over the past decade or so the internet has become absurdly hostile if you don't have a consistent mobile phone number. I still think that buying a mobile device and spending >$100 a year *solely* to receive 2fa/account recovery texts is absurd, but I guess that believe has caught up to me

I'm scared that I won't be able to even make a new discord account effectively, since if I trip the bot detection I don't *have* a mobile phone number to give them. I really don't want to lose the main way I stay in contact with my friends

Discord is the one I'm most worried about. The discord support website states in multiple places that their support staff is incapable of changing an account's email, which pretty much guarantees I get locked out the next time I get logged out.

Rinne Alexandria “Lexie” Kamitani: Guitarist and lead singer for Dodecadendron, a punky underground rock band. Make no mistake: Lexie Kamitani is Kind Of A Lot. Charismatic, laid-back, and easily amused, her cool exterior belies a remarkably intense individual with a profound passion for truth, love, and art. She exclusively fucks with people who Give A Shit.

Although born a werewolf, she spent her teenage years among humans, during which time she developed her extreme distaste for authority. Most monsters don’t fit neatly into the categories of “cis” or “trans”, but Lexie loudly self-describes as a trans woman.

An excerpt from CURSE/KISS/CUTE. The text reads:

“I lost a bet,” says Nathan to his assembled audience of crickets.

“I lost a *bet*,” he says again, but differently.

“I...*lost a bet*. Actually, the *truth* is, I...lost a bet. Well, see—basically—I lost a bet? *Lost* a bet. Lost a *bet*? Lost...a bet?”

He frowns.

“Oh, you lost a bet? So basically, what you’re saying is that you think wearing a skirt is sort of a, kind of a joke? You don’t get the job. In fact, I’m calling the police. *Idiot.*” He punts a stick twenty feet in the air.

He slides with his back against the wall. “All my clothes fell in a lake. Of fire? My clothes went to hell. So I had to borrow my...sister’s clothes?” He puts his palms together in prayer. “My sister, who has all my same measurements and doesn’t own a single pair of pants...and the bra straps? Um...the bra straps are...tactical?”

His ass touches down in the grass. He pleads to the moon above. “My name is Nathan Small. My name is...Natalie?” He shudders.

He thinks.

He tilts his head.

“Nathan? No, no, no. I said my name was *Nat*. Nat Small. It’s actually unisex.”

He nods, slowly.

The clouds of the moon loom overhead. He watches for a while as they silently storm.

“But the *truth* is,” he whispers, “even though I look like this...I’m actually a *boy*.”

A cricket jumps up his skirt. He shrieks.
