First ever commander night. First time playing EDH at all. Just the revival trance precon. But opponent ran blasphemous act on turn six then I played rise of the dark realms and won. Bonus points: I controlled 3 transformers which I can’t wait to tell my 11 year old tomorrow morning.

My battlefield after acquiring 11 creatures from various graveyard. It includes General Leo with sword of feast and famine and 9 +1 counters. Grana which grants all other creatures haste. Diamond weapon, Optimus Prime, Flamewar, Terra and more.

Also I guess I’ll share the shirt we made for Duo’s first type one audit. We give one to each auditor. As well as a roll of toilet paper with our infosec policy on it. The TP was to show that we took seriously everyone reading and acknowledging the policy.

On the other hand. Here’s the 60% of a baconator I got from the Dulles Wendy’s. It came to $25 for that and fries and pop. It took so long to get that by the time I opened it I didn’t have time to complain.

A baconator missing all of its sauce, slice of of cheese, three slices of bacon and having less than complete beef patties. All for the airport exclusive price of $25. Wtf

Well I’m almost fourth and I’ve spent the last 20+ years working in IT and Security. Time to cross class in woodworking. Behold my floating mantle. Made of poplar, over a 2x4 subframe that’s mounted to the brick. Minwax Ebony stain with a semi-gloss seal.

Neighbor brought over alcohol. Well. I made cocktails but he brought denatured alcohol which whipped this stain into shape.

Thank you. The solution I went for in this case was using denatured alcohol. First to treat the wood. Then using the wet rag to spread a bit thinner of a coat. I was able to just work out my initial pass as well. The grain shows through nicely.
