Had this thought during the prior postseason and put some data together to support it, that the Hawks' youth movement might be *too* young. They have no top-six forwards who are of the age typically associated with a player's "prime" years.

And then a goal scored by the guy the Hawks traded away for a player they never committed to using properly and then allowed to walk away in free agency for nothing so he could average about 60 points a season in Washington!

Think all 5 Hawks skaters were in the D zone there and they *still* couldn't break the puck out. The forwards flying the zone may be part of the issue here but right now this team just sucks at passing the puck to teammates.
