Applying LLMs to biomedical research today can go one of two ways: we either use a closed-source web app, or we get coding ourselves. Many researchers lack training for the latter, so their only choice is the former. We want to change that. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Looking forward to my online presentation as part of the Waterman Seminar Series @ IPK Gatersleben next week where I'll talk about our plant #phenotyping app #GridScore. Sneak peek at some of the slides below. #RSE
The title slide of a presentation called "GridScore NEXT - Accurate mobile plant phenotyping".A slide showing plant phenotypic data collection in the larger picture in a chain from data collection to follow-on trials, data analysis and finally publications. Error can propagate their way through this chain and end up in publications.A slide showing a visual representation of the requirements for a mobile phenotyping app and a preview of GridScore below running on multiple different devices. The workflow of using GridScore starting with the trial setup which is then shared using QR codes. People can then use the app on their phone to collect data in the field and look at specialised data visualizations all while the app keeps the data synchronised across all devices. Finally, the data can be exported into various formats.
