A great overview of how the Trump admin cultivated fear inside NIH to force compliance, even with harmful, unethical & unlawful orders. Also covers origins of the Bethesda Declaration community. From my friend & co-organizer Dr. Wen-Ying Sylvia Chou. www.psychologicalscience.org/publications...

This correlation is so high that I didn't believe it until I pulled the data myself! (BTW, r=0.849, including DC). The Spearman rho is 0.874! 0.874! Everything is gender.

Those GAO findings are completely different. The PDF describes several potential fraud routes described, each less than 0.5%, and none of it verified fraud just potential fraud. What's under discussion, 35% fake people, should have been trivially found by GAO if true, by methods in the PDF.

Well, if you also assume that the companies are filing fake income tax returns, using some sort of faked income data, in addition to faked SSN numbers, that the IRS has somehow missed all these faked people and fake sources of income. As well as HHS/CMS and state registries being in on faking ppl.

Charlie Vaske @seavaske.com · 26/09/2026
It's so simple: the IRS, DHS (verifies citizenship), HHS/CMS, and Social Security Administration are all in on the scam, all to the sole benefit of the healthcare industry! Not to mention all the state registries too. It was a massive conspiracy under our nose the entire time!

AIUI the ridiculous assertion is that the health insurance companies are collecting ACA subsidies for fake individuals that the healthcare companies made up. Which would be trivially proven/disproven by an audit of whether these fake people were paying their share of the premiums!

Thomas Jefferson’s genome has been sequenced to substantiate the idea that the president fathered children with Sally Hemings, a Black woman he enslaved. But one of Hemings’s descendants has criticized the work and withdrawn her participation in the study. Learn more: scim.ag/4iKdSxA

In 2024 the US Department of Energy proposed these routes for electrification. No time like the present to get to work making it a reality.

Major freight routes include LA-Chicago, WA-Chicago, SLC-Chicago via both Wyoming and Colorado, LA-Houston, Houstin-Chicago via Oklahoma, Chicag-NYC via PA. Commuter routes include Metra, Metrolink, Frontrunner, and NY-area diesel routes

I once went down a rabbit hole trying to understand how property tax gets distributed post-Prop 13, and found that staffers had 90 minutes to solve a massive tax crisis, resulting in the most complex system I've ever seen in practice. www.californiacityfinance.com/ElledgePrope...
Text screenshot highlighting "Mac's factor" from https://www.californiacityfinance.com/ElledgePropertyTax06.pdf

Special District Augmentation Fund (SDAF).
The California legislature created the Special District Augmentation Fund in AB 8 to
maintain the authority of boards of supervisors and city council to continually determine
the distribution of block grant payments to special districts solely within their boundaries.
A conference committee, convened to find a solution to the continuing financial troubles
of local governments, gave its staff members one-and-a-half hours during lunch to
develop alternative methods for allocating special district money. The legislative staffers
ate lunch at Original Mac’s restaurant in downtown Sacramento. The formula developed
and written on a napkin was immediately dubbed the “Mac’s Factor”. (O’Brien, 1985, pp.2-3)

If they have all the money why haven't they bought the rest of the housing? If the new housing pays labor, and pays cities through taxes, isn't this a way to grab back some of that money? We need more nuanced thinking, not "I give in ahead of time to the wealthy and will not fight back at all."
