Today I went to a “restorative yoga” session. It was held in a room adjoining the Cycling class. Soft sounds of melodies, chimes and gongs were augmented by a deep, thumping bass and muffled shouts of “get it!” And “push harder!” I did not find it as restorative as advertised.
