there was defo less romance and time spent exploring their relationship than i would have hoped for. XK was great as ML but i just feel there was a lot missing that would have been better developed had they not cut a lot of the drama down..

i got into it a bit more after eps 13-14 lol, surprisingly. i do agree that there is way too much focus on hatred and a lot of the characters are awful heinous people, but i guess that's the point. i'm up to ep 22 now, and i'll finish but saddened to discover ML's backstory was not even filmed..

updating to say that i think after ep 10 i started to warm to it a lot more haha, i just needed that further push it seems! am now up to ep 16 and loving the twists! although the romance hasn't won me over yet, the story is fun enough and the action is v well filmed! 👏 #SpringOfTheBlade
