The work of these Sudanese farmer organizers is so critical bcs as they put it there is a parallel war happening of capitalists waiting to pounce on their land so this organizing is not only helping ppl cope with hunger and dependency on food aid but also helping ppl stay and retain their land.

Just got off a call with some1 frm the Farmers Alliance who for 5$ a family are helping over 1500 families grow subsistence foods in their compounds. Entire iftars 4rm the salads to the stews are made 4rm produce they grow + barter. Go to sudansolidarity.com to support them. (1/2)
