For a moment the neighborhood celebrates, but yesterday while Arbaz was at the Dunkin Donuts, the Imposter Cart pulled up directly next to him, so the situation appears to be ongoing. This is the last I heard.

Allegedly, while leading up to this meeting, the Imposter said he would leave Arbaz alone for $40,000. Arbaz declines and the meeting moves as forward. The Imposter told by the police and made to sign something saying they would leave Arbaz alone and let him have the spot.

Within the next day or two, the Imposter finally moves their cart so they can clean it presumably. To keep Arbaz from getting his spot they part a car on the sidewalk. Now the police are involved. So last Friday there was a hearing at the police precinct.

So someone from the Imposter Truck starts sending the picture of them in front of Arbaz' truck to some of the most active members of our local fb group to be like "we have made up there is no more issue". For a moment, the neighborhood celebrates. Then we hear from Arbaz: this is a psyop!

Arbaz tells everyone in his line (~7-10 people) to move to the side and these guys also take a picture in front of his cart. The guys kinda mumble at all of us watching (and someone taking video due to prior threats) that this is "family business".

At this point, both Arbaz and Community Members start reaching out to L&I to investigate the Imposter. We're now at last Wednesday, when I go to get lunch from Arbaz and support the homie. As I'm there, 4 guys are taking pictures in front of the imposter cart, then they all walk over to Arbaz

Something else to note is The Imposter has been getting his licenses and stuff suspiciously fast. According to Arbaz there's some documentation they need that usually takes months which the Imposter seemed to get in a matter of days.

Meanwhile, in order to not give up the dunkin spot The Imposter starting doing weird shit like sleeping in his cart and also would chain smoke inside it and never leave. Meanwhile Arbaz takes his cart to a facility every day for cleaning.

One day Arbaz was able to show up early enough (around 4am!!!) to secure his usual spot. However now a bunch of masked men came up and threatened him and told him he needed to leave the spot. So Arbaz moved across the street to the Sunoco parking lot.

about two weeks ago another cart appeared in his spot that looked suspiciously like Arbaz. Same color, similar LED light sign, etc. This Imposter cart was blocking Arbaz from his usual spot. So Arbaz tried showing up earlier, which only made The Imposter show up even earlier.

so there is a cart in my neighborhood, owned by Arbaz, that's been in the same spot in front of the dunkin for i believe over a decade. he's sort of an institution and widely regarded as one of the best halal carts in the northwest, if not all of philly.
