I cannot believe someone has essentially admitted to me that they are okay with endorsing a rapist because they weren't the one raped. Not anything I expected to be said directly to me today.

Been a while since skies were blue, but I had a mail day today. Specifically, this strange envelope. I would open it, but there was also a strange legal doc served at home C/O Stephen Jury advising me not to open this or else I would going to court. I can only hope to be curious for so long…

An envelope with the logos of Invoke Pro Wrestling, Marks R Us, and World’s Greatest Wrestking logos on the front.

As long as Darby is taking everything serious and does everything his guides tell him to do, before and during the climb, he should be fine. Climbing Everest is inherently dangerous, but the fatality rate isn't as high as other high mountains int he world.

In the case of Zayda vs. Kylie at New Texas and assuming results/creative of Official WWE ID matches are dictated from above, it's probable they already know who needs to win. (Especially since the match announcement notes that this a rematch from a past ID match, so I assume it becomes 1-1 here.)

♦️💚 "The Ace of Sin City" Screwball 🔩⚾️ @screwballsq.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

The one thing I would caution with is if it conflicts with some venue’s bag policies. Not a super common concern on the indies, but maybe something to be aware of when selling them at say, Mania weekend.

000

♦️💚 "The Ace of Sin City" Screwball 🔩⚾️ @screwballsq.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

Yeah, they aren't mandating anything creative if you are booking the talent, but if they are sanctioning an Official WWE ID match, they are definitely influencing the creative. I saw Ice vs. Cartwheel at FSW in December, and they were clearly working a WWE ID story as opposed to FSW stories.
