Johnson sold makes me think about the risks of this safety-first style. With each passing window, the squad gets shaped along those lines. Not only does this mean we’re unlikely to have ‘stars’ that stay (or arrive), it’ll need another complete rebuild required when the club realise it’s shite.

Daniel Levy invested in infrastructure that created short-term pressures, but position the club for long-term stability. He had flaws, and probably too much influence on areas that were not his strength, but show me a Spurs fan that wouldn’t do that, because that’s what he was, a fan #coys
