You’re right about the suspending disbelief part. I used a decent amount of HF when I was in grad school/ industry, but that was small amounts in a controlled environment. I wouldn’t want to use it like Jesse did!

I loved both “breaking Bad” and “The Wire.” But as an organic chemist, the former has a special place in my heart….it got the chemistry right and I loved the moral arc of Walter White. The final episode really nailed the landing.
