Earlier today, two commercial ships were struck by drones in Bulgaria's Exclusive Economic Zone in the Black Sea. One sank and the other was seriously damaged. The origin of the drones is still under investigation.
I have just spoken with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev about this serious attack. Sweden stands in full solidarity with our NATO Ally Bulgaria.

Duhaime is as inept as PSPP inre: leadership. It will be interesting to see how he does (poorly, I expect). Sadly, it appears QS will fall short of official party status, muffling them somewhat. But Ghazal proved herself as a political force in this campaign. She and Milliard are Quebec's future.

If he wants a budget passed, he'll need the support of the PCQ, so that'll mean gutting services AND cutting taxes, to please creditors. There is 0 incentive for either the PLQ or QS to go along with that. Neither party has anything to lose by forcing an election in the Spring over it.

Meanwhile, the lightweight PSPP is high on his own fumes, while the much smarter and wiliee Carney is only going to be poised to completely eat his lunch, when it's convenient for him. Remember: Carney has roughly double the support (54%) of PSPP (28%) of Quebecers. Recall: PSPP has no experience.

So his party is bolstered and happy, his profile is raised and his strategic options are frankly sublime compared to the PQ's, who niw (holy shit) will have to square their fairie-dust promises with reality, up agsinst a federal government most Quebecers are most pleased with and confident about.

As a completely untested leader, Milliard beat all expectations and doubled his party's seat count, cementing the party's status as official Opposition (and his role as leader of any upcoming, but highly unlikely, Non campaign). It's all gravy for him, pressure on PSPP, and easy pickings for Carney.

As we can see from the CAQ's complete obliteration, Quebecers are in no mood to be charitable with their masters, and Duhaime will be a nasty opposition voice with a much bigger platform than before and an easy target with the thjn-skinned new Premier. Milliard didn't WANT to win tonight.

There is a reason Charles Milliard is happy with tonight's results. The poisoned CAQ chalice Frechette inherited from Legault has now been handed off to #PSPP and I doubt he has even half Frechette's competence in dealing with it. We're in dire financial straits and now that's the PQ's ptoblem.

With a complete CAQ wipe-out, at least let it be said that Quebec voted to reject incompetence. Meanwhile, with the province's finances an utter shambles, I don't foresee an easy road ahead for the new minority PQ government. All momentum is with the PLQ and PCQ.
