I've had it for 45 years (it wasn't up the entire time, but it's been up for a lot of it), and it's in a frame about 3 feet away from me.
A poster for the 1981 Olivia Newton-John film Xanadu. In the foreground, Olivia Newton-John (a white woman with blonde hair and green eyes) is visible from the neck up, glowing, with the fancy blue and silver Xanadu Movie logo above her head. In the background, an illustration of the art deco Xanadu building (a stylized version of Los Angeles, California's Pan-Pacific Auditorium) is visible, with a sky that looks like it's at a blue and gold sunset.

Do any of y'all collect/play the X-Files, Star Wars or Star Trek: The Next Generation CCGs? Have a bunch of cards here (gotten as part of other lots), would like to get them to good homes (and make some money from them, lest I be nominated for sainthood).
Stacks of Star Trek: The Next Generation (bottom left), Star Wars (center right) and X-Files (bottom right) collectible card game cards sit on a black table next to a white card box. At top left, there is also a Home Improvement trading card set.

I wonder how hard it would be to get those fools at Paramount to sign off on a branded model.
Logo made with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles logo generator that says "NUNCHAKU MADE OUT OF BUTTPLUGS", the "NUNCHAKU MADE OUT OF" part in the red trapezoid box with the white lettering and "BUTTPLUGS" written in the curved green turtle shell looking font, all on a yellow background.

Because you have some player/managers, and some people whose debut date is reported weird, I can guarantee that this list is inaccurate on the players who played in the Negro Leagues, but there are 74 names here, and Wikipedia says there are 278 people who were inducted as players, so about 26%.

I'm glad I have just enough restraint to know that the "I'll bump the shit out of this with my 2-XL" impulse is a fleeting one, but this is really dope. 🎧
An 8-track tape of Alvin and the Chipmunks' Chipmunk Punk album sits on a fancy red background. The tape is black with a yellow label that also has the album cover centered on the face label (cartoon chipmunks Simon, Theodore and Alvin against a red brick wall with "Chipmunk Punk" spray-painted on it).

I did just have to change out 12 films on my list (and added 2 more years, 1928 and 2026, making it so I've seen at least one film from every year of full talkies; we don't talk about '27...), which was pretty dope, but I wasn't happy about Godzilla vs. Creature from the Black Lagoon. 📽️
List of changes made to my "favorite talkie from every year" list:

1928: Lights of New York
1934: Heat Lightning (previous: It Happened One Night)
1935: A Midsummer Night's Dream (previous: The Bride of Frankenstein)
1936: After the Thin Man (previous: The Gorgeous Hussy)
1947: Monsieur Verdoux (previous: Kiss of Death)
1954: Godzilla (previous: Creature from the Black Lagoon)
1955: Rebel Without a Cause (previous: Marty)
1958: The Blob (previous: Vertigo)
1959: Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow (previous: Suddenly, Last Summer)
1969: Downhill Racer (previous: Midnight Cowboy)
1970: Wanda (previous: Beneath the Planet of the Apes)
1973: The Hideaways (former: The Wicker Man)
1974: The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (former: Blazing Saddles)
2026: Wuthering Heights

9. It's like this, only The Joker has nukes (and, no matter how played out the character is, will always still be at least a little cooler than That Asshole), and this time, he's not on the side of Iran like he was in A Death in the Family (which, wow, that shit was handled awkwardly in hindsight).
Panel from Batman Vol. 1 #66 ("The Joker's Comedy of Errors") with The Joker (a white man with green hair in a purple suit) in profile, standing in front of a red curtain, pounding a copy of the Gotham Gazette newspaper (with a headline partially legible as "CHORTLE AT JOKER'S BONER") with his fist, yelling "SO! THEY LAUGH AT MY BONER, WILL THEY?! I'LL SHOW THEM! I'LL SHOW THEM HOW MANY BONERS THE JOKER CAN MAKE!" as henchmen are visible in tge background, concerned.

Time for the first reader movie poll of 2026! The rules in the screenshot (and alt text) below! Polls (by decade) are in the replies! Polls (all decades) end on Wednesday, January 14th at 8 PM Eastern Time.
Screenshot (black text on white background) of my movie poll rules:

"OK, poll time.

The Drill:

I haven't seen any of the films that are named further down in this thread. Please choose one film for me to watch *first* from each decade. (I plan on getting to them all, if my lifetime allows, but I'm trying to prioritize here.)

Once I've watched all but one of the films from the current poll, I'll run another poll, with the runners-up and a new film added in the winners' places periodically. If a movie survives 10 polls, it automatically becomes next in line, with ties broken chronologically and alphabetically.

Tie-breaker rules:

Movie in the poll longest is the first tie-breaker

Oldest movie by release date is the second tie-breaker

Without further ado, the nominees (number of appearances on each ballot in parentheses):"

I was able to pull a list of 10 solos I really love off the top of my head, but it still makes me look like an old white man, and doesn't wholly fit my current listening patterns. It also doesn't include any Cure songs, anything by Vini Reilly (Durutti Column/Morrissey's Viva Hate), etc.
Screenshot of a list of personal Top 10 guitar solos (off the top of my head), black text on white background:

Bon Jovi-"Wanted Dead or Alive" (Richie Sambora)
Ultra Vivid Scene-"Poison" (Kurt Ralske)
King Diamond-"A Mansion in Darkness" (Andy LaRocque and Michael Denner both played on it, I'm not sure off-hand how much they switched off on the solos, if at all)
Gerry Rafferty-"Baker Street" (Hugh Burns)
Ozzy Osbourne-"Diary of a Madman" (Randy Rhoads)
Pink Floyd-"Another Brick in the Wall Part 2" (David Gilmour)
The Stooges-"Dirt" (Ron Asheton)
Nine Inch Nails-"Ruiner" (Trent Reznor, pretty sure)

Screenshot from the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Weekly website describing 2024 happenings in WWE:

"In 2024, Andrade and Hayes faced off in a best-of-seven series on SmackDown. Their feud was never fully settled, as the seventh match ended with LA Knight interfering and causing a no contest. That led to a triple threat match for the United States title at Crown Jewel 2024 where Knight defeated Andrade and Hayes."

Had to do 5 with comments. #6 is probably "High 5 (Rock the Catskills)". I know there's stuff on The Information and Colors that'd qualify for a top 10, "Asshole" and "Satan Gave Me A Taco" would, too. I don't listen to him often enough, and there's like 5 of his albums that I've barely heard.
Screenshot of a list of 5 favorite Beck songs, with comments:

"1. "Lord Only Knows" (enduring memory of a great time)
2. "Ship in the Bottle" (from the Japanese Sea Change, gorgeous, gorgeous song, hit up YouTube if you haven't heard it)
3. "Fuckin' With My Head (Mountain Dew Rock)" (I feel the "I ain't got no soul!" in my bones)
4. "Debra" (tough ranking it this low)
5. "Loser" (as much of a Kansas/Land of Oz moment as "Smells Like Teen Spirit")"

It took some doing to find a Giants Stadium seating chart, more than it should've, but I was just to the left of dead center of the stage, and you were on the right hand side, close but not so close that it was obstructed view.
Seating chart for Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ.
