Instead of writing the word "súil" (eye), they've drawn an eyeball. But they've made sure to include the fadas and lenition. That's right. They've lenited the eyeballs. (RIA 23 B 21)
Uch a shúil, ón uch a shúil, except the word 'súil' has been replaced by a circle with a central dot to represent an eyeball, with a lenition dot and a fada over it

News from Finland: An 11-year-old Queen of Crime who runs two whole neighborhoods in Helsinki
Screenshot of text from YLE News. Text reads:

Helsingin Sanomat has reported that an 11-year-old girl is the leader of a gang of girls in Eastern Helsinki suspected in 30 criminal cases.

The paper and other outlets reported about the gang of young females last week. Police suspect around 10 individuals in the crimes. The suspects were born between 2012 and 2015.

According to HS, the group's 11-year-old leader is widely known among kids in the eastern part of the city. The paper noted that up to 40 children may be tangentially involved. Yle has reported that boys had also been involved in some of the incidents.

Police mostly suspect the youths of assault, but they are also suspected of making illegal threats and vandalism, for example.

According to the paper, the gang had targeted adults and children whom they did not know, and also kids they did know. According to police, the group had been active at least in the Vuosaari and Pasila districts.

There's a temple of Apollo on Ortigia island that can only be viewed from outside, so I wasn't surprised to see that some of the feral cats had taken it over. The large rabbits were a bit more unusual

There are catacombs at the church of St Lucia which you can visit, as well as the original burial place of St Lucia in the sepulchre chapel (her remains were first stolen by the Byzantines and brought to Constantinople, then by the Venetians in the 4th crusade)

The cathedral in Siracusa is fascinating - it was originally a temple to Athena, and has in the meantime been Byzantine, a mosque and Norman before its current baroque façade. But the Greek Doric columns are still visible

The little "geology" museum here is nice (would be better if I understood a bit more Italian). They're a bit broader than geology, so there's dinosaurs and dwarf elephants and a little video on the Mediterranean desiccation and the Zanclean flood
