TBH, I don't see a "MAGA civil war" over the Epstein files. It's more an example of how long it takes to turn around a massive ship when it has momentum. They'll turn it around eventually and people will lose any sense of urgency, remembering whatever is convenient and discarding the rest.

Costco now has refrigerated ramen bowls, just add water and microwave for 4 minutes. It will never be as good as the real stuff but its better than instant and takes about the same time to make. It's a little more fresh and crisp than a really good canned soup would be. The veg was not mushy at all.

Since Republicans toe the party line and spread the same talking points, it doesn't really matter which one you iltalk to. Democrats still value a conscience and a soul over party loyalty. You will get very different responses from AOC, Buttigieg, Jeffries, or Schumer. This should be a feature.

My 2¢ on the new Pope: he's going to be a centrist/reformer like the last guy and not a conservative nut job like the guy before him. However, there's only so far you can bend as Pope without giving lie to the thing. There are things The Church believes are a sin and the Pope has to back that play.
