My hometown movie theater has been doing RHPS midnight showings for decades, and there's one tomorrow night after the Pride parade & festival tomorrow. In trying to explain the phenomenon to my stepkiddo, I found this ancient relic of me at a summer showing in 2007. Not sure when/how I got old.

One of my musical mentors growing up passed away in May, shortly after her glioblastoma was diagnosed. I was privileged to sing at her funeral service on Friday, and today was the wake. Sue was a tremendous ally and a good friend, so I'm glad i got to honor her by being Very Gay with my wife.

She enthusiastically accepted. When the family was expecting their 3rd child in 2023, they asked Mom to be the baby's godmother as well. A few weeks before the baby was due, the family asked to name the baby after her. Yesterday was Baby Joanne's second birthday. Here she is with her namesake.
