People of ry, 0.10 is out! Mostly a continuation of the false-positive cleanup efforts. Stubs for 10 more packages, so fewer "unbound" warnings. data.table subscripts and column shadowing should work now and test_that() blocks get their own scope #rstats github.com/sims1253/ry/...

People of ry, 0.9.2 is out! Mostly false positive fixes in package code: subsetting in rstan, mirai::status(), .data in aes(), and forwarded defaults. It also stops crashing on cyclic package data and reads 16 MiB of package data by default, so gt needs no config. #rstats github.com/sims1253/ry/...

Tried what I learnt about fused cuda megakernels on some Stan likelihoods. Hierarchical radon -65% gradient Ir, 2PL IRT -41%, ICAR spatial -17%. All bit-identical with current implementations. This is fun. #rstats

Watched Bob Carpenter's StanCon talk and decided the Stan stack deserved some love. PRs incoming to stan-math, stanc3, bridgestan + walnutpie: −15% walltime per gradient, a silent autodiff blowup on degenerate eigenvalues (ESS 29→411 when fixed), and a small pile of bugs 👀 :3 #rstats #stan
