The Māori octopus (Macroctopus maorum) is one of the largest octopus species found in New Zealand and Australian waters. They also have arms that are long even for a large octopus. They have a max mantle length of 30 cm, but their longest pair of arms can have an arm span of over 3 m! #OCTOtober

So an actual math question I have about Albanese varieties is whether the definition generalises directly to schemes. Like is an Albanese scheme of X the initial object in some category `Hom(X, AbSch)`? Is that even well defined for X not a variety?

the way fever works for me is that i get delirious in a way that revolves around perseveration. ill get some nonsensical idea or fantasy and be unable to think about anything else for hours. this happens even though im usually aware of the dynamic. it's frustrating and happens even with mild fevers
