Origins was a smashing success! We sold a bunch of games and got to play even more. It's interesting to note the difference between Origins and cons like PAX U and Gen Con that have a greater creator presence. "Networking" didn't mean bouncing between events, it meant playing games with buds.

We're already pretty close to our next stretch goal! Very excited to print some physical copies of Axolotl with a Gun: Armed and Dangerous. A little teaser of my favorite new "class" from the expansion zine, THE EXPERIMENTAL RAILGUN:

Your gun stores energy as it fires to unleash an unpredictable, but powerful shot. Add your first unsuccessful die each round to the charge tower by stacking your dice on top of each other (one on top of the other). If the tower falls on your turn, it counts as a GUN roll. If the tower falls on another player's turn, the top two dice count as a GUN roll. If the tower falls when the horrors act at the beginning or end of the round, the railgun misfires and the horrors gain the benefits of the dice pool. The GM may not shake the table or otherwise intentionally cause the tower to fall.

Axolotl with a Gun isn't a particularly crunchy game, but I do feel like @bridanann.bsky.social was min-maxing the art style for maximum cute aggression. These little dudes are all available as stickers on the campaign!
