Finally got around to mopping up my missing collectibles in Clair Obscur before it leaves Game Pass on the 15th. Was great to go back and revisit some of those areas! Got the completion now :D

Beat Well Dweller this morning and it was a great metroidvania! In addition to the fun traversal, combat, and story, it has excellent quality of life features so that getting 100% wasn't like beating my head against the wall. Starting to be really excited for anything Kyle Thompson makes!

Pangoro and Espathra are two of my faves that are not very popular.

Made some pizza tonight! Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ as the sauce, tropea onions, pit bbq chicken, french fries, gouda, and some shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Came out great but didn't take time for an after pic :P

Working on ribbons for my Ash Greninja today! Just about done with the Elite 4 and then just need to do the Battle Tree.

Best contest results in Shining Pearl so far!

Tried to beat a Master rank contest in Shining Pearl and even with a very good showing on the Dance portion... fell a little short. Going to need to make some poffins I guess!

Rillaboom was my original starter in Sword, Dragapult was the result of breeding for a 6IV, and Cinderace was the gift from connecting Sword to HOME!

Brought over some ribbon masters from Sword and Shield so they could get some new swag from Scarlet and Violet! Went for the three marks you can get on existing pokemon too... Partner Mark is an absolute pain 😫 Next I want to pick some pokemon from this gen to turn into ribbon masters!

Got my Switch working (I think the dock is bad) after 3 years, bought the Scarlet expansion pass, and spent the entire day playing the Teal Mask! It was pretty fun :D Now I'm off to Blueberry Academy and then maybe ZA.

This was interesting to think about! Looks like I shifted into a grass guy at some point... huh. But this grumpy bird is not going to break that streak! Adorable.

Finished shading on the Sleeper and knocked out Sherma!

Been playing MIO: Memories in Orbit and it is absolutely stunning. The artwork, the story, the traversal... everything has been an absolute treat!

Board game #2 is Tea Witches. It's very cute and very fun but it is the most table hog game I own. Still, we're on our second playthrough already so you know it's good!

Got three new board games for Christmas! Here's Vineyard: A Winemaking Game. It's pretty fun and we are near the end of our first play :) I am losing :P

Lines are done and shading started but my skin stopped cooperating so will continue this in 2026

This was me yesterday walking through easy things while sharing my screen with a room full of people

6 hrs of meetings today, plus filling in for a coworker on vacation, plus doing extra support tasks for the system upgrade, plus my boss is back today, plus doing my regular job. That should all fit nicely into 8 hrs!

Gm! Terrible work day for me, but then four day weekend to look forward to!!

Made my first ever Mai tai today with almond syrup (orgeat) I also made myself. All told it was a 5 hr process from start to finish but now I can have delicious drinks all week!

Classic daiquiri with Don Q rum and breakfast pierogies while I hang out with my dog on the porch. Pretty good Saturday so far, how about you guys?

Rolled credits on #Silksong ... now to figure out what to do next! I have a few wishes to wrap up but I think I've explored everywhere my traversal upgrades allow...

000

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 08/09/2025

This took many many tries, but I'm stoked to have it! #Silksong

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 07/09/2025

Spent some time farming rosaries here; you get 29 per loop and the bench is just to the right to respawn them. Not too bad!

000

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 06/09/2025

Just beat the boss located here in #Silksong after 3.5 hrs of dying and retrying. But now I know how to cross-stitch!

010

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 12/08/2025

nice work! I need to get back to the Pre-Sequel; managing the oxygen in addition to everything else was stressing me out :P And I just don't like the TellTale titles :/

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 31/07/2025

I'd been looking forward to this release for awhile because I love the series and @chubigans.bsky.social did not disappoint! The cooking was completely different from CSD but the vibe and the world were familiar and excellent :D Really love how the story turned out; looking forward to Re-Mustard!

I love Merchants Cove but it is a table hog and the box storage is atrocious. How are you supposed to play this with four players?

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 23/05/2025

Lovely peek at Il Duomo through the trees on the way up to San Miniato in Florence Italy

010

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 22/05/2025

Went to the Interactive Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in Florence and got to see a bunch of re-creations of his machines! Some of them he never built and some are still in use today! Pretty wild stuff.

Revenge of the Savage Planet tomorrow!

000

Scarovese @scarovese.com · 06/05/2025

Coolest thing I did in Clair Obscur? Fought 3 Noires at level 67 and beat them all without taking damage.

Last full day in Naples and it looks like the sun decided to come out and shine rather than the storms that were in the forecast! Time to wall around the city for the last time :)
