Weavers of Bsky (a group of people who I truly hope exist), it is becoming increasingly clear as I weave this tea towel that I goofed up my warp tension. The right is tighter. My warp is wound to let me weave five more of these towels. When I finish this one, should I cut it off and retie the warp?

We have begun the long, multi-step process of installing the 110 gallon stock tank I got for $80 into its final position as a backyard pond. Next I have to spend $1,000 to have an electrician install an outlet to run a waterfall pump, which is a bit of an escalation in cost 😂

An assortment of medium and large pots and potted plants, including a double sink in the front and a 50 gallon drum housing a cherry tree in the back.

The same view and some of the same pots, but the tree in the 50 gallon drum and some of the other large pots have been removed. In their place is a huge black oval tub.

My Rage Against the Machine/Les Mis mashup is complete. This is my interpretation of the quilt guild’s summer challenge “quilt with your interpretation and/or feelings towards our current ‘democracy’” all hand stitched.
