Will that make the two shots suddenly similar? Every other row in the table is showing visual similarities, not just thematic content. You might as well say this shot of creator and creation in shot together was inspired by Metropolis.

A great point is that the population of Isreal is mostly Jews expelled from the rest of the middle east. The spell checker is flagging Isreal as incorrect. It did it again! "Isreal"! Putting it in quotes is flagged as well.

Will it flag a small "i" in isreal? Yes it does. Where the hell is this coming from!

Checked a bit of the article on New Zealand - it's basically as expected for AI. More or less correct in broad strokes, but with subtle errors and sources that don't even contain the facts claimed. e.g. Grokpedia vs cited source
New Zealand maintains a nuclear-free policy since 1987 and pioneered women's suffrage in 1893, alongside early social reforms.[1]Beginning in 1984, New Zealand began to adopt nuclear-free policies, contributing to a dispute with the US over naval ship visits that led the US to suspend its defense obligations to New Zealand in 1986

Bill Maher, famously, said exactly that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic...
On September 17, 2001, Maher criticized United States foreign policy on the show and argued that the perpetrators of the September 11 terrorist attacks, "although terrible people," were not cowards. "What was cowardly," he argued, "was America's relationship with the rest of the world." The comments were widely condemned, and while Maher later apologized and clarified the meaning behind his comments, major advertisers stopped advertising with the show. As a result, the show was canceled in June 2002.

This sounds concerningly like a call to legalise collective punishment.
The main aim of the report is to call for justice, providing what Halperin-Kaddari describes as "a blueprint for how to secure justice in cases of mass atrocities when many of the victims are dead and it is impossible to point at a specific
perpetrator".

"We see October 7 as a test case," said Ben-Or, the retired judge. "Authorities are used to seeking justice on an individual case but here we have mass cases and most
victims were murdered or too traumatised to speak which creates profound challenges for establishing accountability so we needed to come up with a new legal framework and
new ways to prosecute."

How convenient that they just happened to decide the Alien Enemies Act cases could not be brought under the APA, and had to be brought in habeas instead.
Fourth, and finally, the Supreme Court left open the possibility that nationwide relief would still be available in lawsuits that challenge government action under the Administrative Procedure Act. As I explained for this magazine two years ago, "as nationwide injunctions get a bad odor, 'universal vacatur' under the APA is taking its place." The APA wasn't at issue in the birthright-citizenship case, but it's central to the large majority of lawsuits that challenge government policy. If nationwide injunctions are dead, but universal vacatur is alive, then Trump v. CASA will only rarely make a difference on the ground.

Sotomayor’s dissent spends considerable time rebutting this assertion, yet you treat it as uncontroversially true?
Instead, the courts hewed to a more traditional conception of judicial power. They sat to resolve disputes among parties, nothing more.
That tradition held sway for more than 200 years. It only started to break down in the late 20th century as courts grew more comfortable with universal relief and became more
concerned about executive overreach. By the time President Barack Obama took office, nationwide injunctions had become commonplace.

AI bro thinks a rock rolling down a hill will continue forever. I'm less skeptical of AI than some, but this might be one of the most boneheaded things I've ever seen written on the internet.
Image of a YouTube comment:
Not really, it's just an extrapolation of the trajectory we're on. We've already seen instances where models like AlphaEvolve have meaningfully contributed to algorithmic improvements. I think the bigger assumption is that somehow, for no reason at all, these models will just stop improving and we'll stop making progress. If you see a rock rolling down a hill and there are no obvious barriers in the way, do you assume it's going to stop or keep rolling?

Is it a good sign when the judge starts his opinion by citing Kafka?
Opinion in JGG v Trump begins:

One morning, Kafka’s Josef K. awakens to encounter two strange men outside his room.
As he gets his bearings, he realizes that he is under arrest. When he asks the strangers why, he receives no answer. “We weren’t sent to tell you that,” one says. “Proceedings are under way and you’ll learn everything in due course.” Franz Kafka, The Trial

lol, brutal!
When Yarvin and Camus went on ahead, the filmmakers paused to assess the day’s shoot. Brun said that Yarvin reminded him of the long-winded character in “Airplane!” who talks so incessantly that it drives his seatmates to kill themselves. We wondered what Camus was making of the afternoon. It wasn’t long before we found out. “If intellectual exchanges were commercial exchanges—which they are, to a certain extent—the amount of my exports would not reach one per cent of that of my imports,” Camus wrote in his diary, which he posted online the following day. “The visitor spoke without interruption from his arrival to his departure, for five hours, very quickly and very loudly, interrupting himself only for curious fits of tears, when he spoke of his deceased wife, but also, more strangely, certain political situations.”

"I don't have time for your transphobia, there's too much racism to do!"
Camus let out a high-pitched giggle whenever Yarvin asked a particularly odd question, but he was baffled by his guest’s repeated inquiries about Brigitte Macron, the French First Lady, who Yarvin suspected was actually a man. “We are dealing with the most important thing in the history of the Continent,” Camus exclaimed, referring to the rise of nonwhite immigration to Europe. “What does it matter if Mrs. Macron is a man or woman?”

The left's problem with liberalism is not gradualism, it's what it's gradually moving towards. The destination is the distinction, not the rate of change. Liberalism is capitalist, sometimes with strong constraints, sometimes laissez-faire, leftism is anti-capitalist.
In the past decade, liberalism has taken a beating from both sides of the political spectrum. Its critics to the left view its measured gradualism as incommensurate to the present’s multiple emergencies: climate change, inequality, the rise of an ethno-nationalist right.
