I guess boycotting Harry Potter feels pretty trivial to me, because I'm an adult. if someone told me I shouldn't eat Gerber's baby food, I'd be like, that is no problem. I'm way ahead of you

Legends of Localization: Undertale is a fantastic read that goes into detail on how his involvement is and imo offers pretty good insight on why specifically he likes to be so heavily involved

He's not distrustful of professionals, many, MANY professionals were and are involved with the Japanese localizations of UT and DR. He just puts huge value on being hands-on during the localization process because of how specific and deliberate so many choices in these games are.

Hey, @larianstudios.com, do you guys have any information about the background lore of EDVIDGE? He's my favourite character, but we know almost nothing about EDVIDGE. If you've any crumbs for me, I'd be ever-so-grateful...

“To pay for VicPD’s demands, the city is even looking at cutting a children’s book prize, and a poet laureate and youth poet laureate program that only costs $8,000 (keep in mind that VicPD spent $22,000 on a retirement party this year)” 🚨➡️ defundvicpd.org/2025/11/06/c... #yyj #DefundVicPD

you're in love with a game about exploring and discovering but you don't let anyone explore and discover!!!!! let the game speak for itself!!!! ahhh!!!

100

Xavier @savioroftheeggs.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

you, as a fandomite, a theorist, etc. are in the minority!!!!! believe it or not, the game is designed for blind playthrough!!!! the game imparts its story onto a blind player and it does so very well!!! you only think it doesn't because your knowledge is encyclopedic!!

Xavier @savioroftheeggs.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

im treading old ground, here, but MAN i find the #undertale / #deltarune community's fixation on making sure people play the game "correctly" to be so inconceivably stupid. it's as though people don't realize that the game is designed to be played blind.

genuinely the thing that is currently stopping me from learning #pf2e is how gross the book setup is following the recent remaster. cannot emphasize enough how little i want to own "player core 1"
