#HistoryEducation #historyteacher s check out endsexisminschools.org.uk for more info on this project. Only 12% of history lessons include women as a main focus. Women are 51% of the population in England and Wales (this is not a recent phenomenon)!

A wonderful evening graduating in the stunning Lincoln Cathedral. I’d always wanted to do my MA but I just wanted to get started teaching. Two years ago I decided, why not? So whilst working full time, becoming assistant head, and solo parenting, I did it! And loved every minute 📚

In our resource map out the KS3 National Curriculum and suggest: - 320 named women - 102 suggestions for broader roles women played - 34 recommendations of resources - 10 new profiles of women from our resource where we show how their stories can be taught and where to find sources & scholarship.
