I'm increasingly convinced that the mirror is at least 50% hallucinated fresh every day which is insane to reconcile with it feeling like it should be some kind of objective tool. The world's response to me is never consistent. The mirror is never consistent. Fuck it I guess nothing is real.

Idk I thought we were making cool, unique, soulful worlds in old video games. It's hard for me to learn that so many of us - players and creators alike - looked at what we made as "the best we could do at the time" and what we were apparently hoping for all along was just total photorealism.

I understand a 'remaster'. I understand tuning + upgrading something to be more in line with its original goals. Upping the resolution on already high resolution textures. Adding more inventory space. Adding accessibility options.
