Check your voter registration! A friend of mine found out he was suspended. He and his husband split their time between San Antonio and France. Voted in the 2024 election no problem. Born and raised Texans. He’s hired a lawyer to try to fix this. You may think you’re safe but check anyway.

A couple quick observations here, which should be obvious. 1) insurance “risk pools” work by requiring younger/healthier people who make few or no claims to sign up and pay premiums alongside older/less healthy people who do, essentially covering their costs.

I mentioned to a friend rhe other day that I needed a new washer/dryer. She told me she bought a new w/d that has a phone app that lets her know when her laundry is done. My response to this was, “Why do I need that?” Tech companies want us to think we need this smart technology and we don’t!
