Thanks for the info. I didn't know this was an improvement from the previous design. I have to take the underpass regularly and it still totally sucks going west. A lot of drivers cut into the bike lane on the curve.

Have been doing some digging. Turns out there's a Ghost Bike map. www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboa... This seems to be for Galen Kuellmer, who was hit by a driver. So I'm assuming it was on the roadway below.

I have a Big Ask from our community. Many of you will remember our graduates Pikachu and Eevee, who were adopted together. Eevee had dealt with some very challenging chronic diarrhea while she was a kitten, but before adoption, we figured out a food that worked for her & she was all better (thread)

That might be helpful if the intersection was laid out like the one in your image. It wasn't. There was no right turn lane. Going around on their left would have been substantially more dangerous. Please believe that I know a few things about how to ride a bike on the road safely.

Yes, I know what a blind spot is. I've had a drivers license for 25 years. I was in a bike lane, going straight. Legally, I had the right of way. Shoulder checks are procedure for a reason, as is the legal requirement for signaling before making a turn.
