Let’s stop calling it “trickle down” and go back to the original name - “horse and sparrow” theory. The idea is you feed the horse enough oats, then those oats come out the other end for the sparrow to eat. It’s a concept that justifies policies favouring the rich.

I didn’t sign because environmental impacts aside, I sincerely believe Westport and Buller should not be reliant on a foreign owned multinational extracting OUR minerals for jobs. Bathurst should not have near veto power over Buller’s economic security.
