Delighted to see our work on anion-switchable palladium cages, used to purify single pharmaceuticals from complex mixtures, out in ACIE today: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.... - great work from lead author Zhe, and brilliant crystallography from Tanya!

Our latest collaborative preprint from the group and @kilbinger-group.bsky.social is out - tinyurl.com/3bbrfyhw - we've been looking at creating stably folded, helical, and polyfluorinated transmembrane channels with rates of water transport exceeding Aquaporins. Great to see the manuscript up!

When liquids freeze, ions normally grind to a halt — but not in our new materials! Our latest paper in @science.org shows how organic salts can keep the same ionic conductivity mechanism as they transform from liquid to solid. 🔗 www.science.org/doi/10.1126/... @ox.ac.uk @ajavestro.bsky.social

Our first photoswitchable channel, controlled by three separate stimuli, is now up on ChemRxiv! tinyurl.com/3m4umy3d - we use fluorinated azobenzenes and a pillar[5]arene core to modulate ion transport using light, pH, and guest, modulating initial rates 170-fold. Collaboration with Wallace Lab@KCL!

Just out in pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/... New paper led by Thanos Skandalis on super simple, super strong, and super debondable and rebondable adhesives. Read why shellac inspired this design!
