I can tell my anxiety is less severe because used to be that if my wife went to run a quick errand and then didn’t answer her phone for a couple hours, I’d worry that something awful happened. Tonight when that happened and I was already anxious, I thought she might’ve lost her phone. Progress!

I have a weird schedule today, so I took some time during lunch to actually work on my next book. It’s a sequel to Rondo, picking up after its end. However, other than the prologue and epilogue, it shares no POV characters, and only one of the three narrative threads follows my heroes from Book 1.
