I played a few hours of Wolverine this evening and it would have been a great licensed game in 2008. It's easy fun. Modern day triple-A visuals and performances partnered with a combat system that doesn't seem to evolve beyond the first act. Uncharted 4 did all this better over a decade ago.

My bottom surgery is hopefully coming up once I'm back from Japan in February next year (so long as the UK doesn't make being trans even more illegal by then) so I've used my new freelance status as an excuse to just be healthier. So far I'm down half a stone and have so much more energy.

That's Metal Gear Solid 4 cleared for the first time in over a decade. The final act is still goated even with the ending being filled with loads of nonsense exposition, although I reckon the heart of it all wins out. Otacon going off with Snake at the end and Sunny making her first proper mate🥹
