Think fundamentally people need to remember that FA is host to a community that is largely unmonetizable due to it being chocked full of fetish art. The trade off of capitalism not getting its hands all over the subculture is that ultimately community infrastructure needs to be community funded.

Twitter made me feel smart because every other post was the dumbest people I've ever seen congratulating each other about the worst takes ever made. Bluesky makes me feel dumb because everyone here has a masters degree, actually takes thier ADHD meds, and are cool. Then I learn mostly neat things.

This is very much why I don't use 'feral' to describe sapient creatures on four legs. The language that is used is deceptive and actively fuels misunderstanding. Same for 'anthro' being used to mean bipedal I am, after all, a anthropomorphic quad dragon. Not feral.
