Epic are the exclusive publishers of Alan Wake 2, they also funded the development of the game. I wouldn’t expect it on Steam until Epic themselves decide they aren’t allergic to money.

I would be lying if I said that the price was not disappointing. The price to perf for 1080p performance just isn’t really attractive. That said, I think they tried their utmost best given the circumstances. Good for anyone who doesn’t already own a pc or steam deck.

I’ll be advocating for all my friends buy a Steam Machine (when it’s out) now more than ever. At least then they’ll have a great device to hook up to the tv, access to their existing Steam library and not be locked into an awful ecosystem paying for online access and games every new generation.

I enjoy Slavic folklore in TV shows, but haven’t read any literature featuring it. Does Ukraine have its own distinctive folklore traditions, or does it primarily share in broader Slavic folklore with regional variations?

That said, it used to be the case that Australians per capita had a higher amount of expendable income compared to other countries and our standard of living was high. But the world has changed since then, and the cost of living is hurting us all. The market has not caught up.

Multiple things really. Import duties, market size and demand, retailer markups, and the good old 'Australia tax' which is a trend as old as time where international companies charge aussies higher prices because they can. It's pretty rough.
