(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I do wonder if she’s viable in that she starts off at a higher level and has more ornament slots upgraded or in the sense that she just has a really valuable niche. Because the latter is what happened with her in 3rd and it encouraged you to bench her forever 000
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Found out that Josette is apparently viable in Sky 2nd because I saw someone take her to the Loewe boss fight and he straight up goes “???? Why are you here?” 100

(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026She has a solid base but between making every girl want Rean carnally and not knowing what to do with her when it’s not her time to shine she feels kind of aimless (as a character in a story. She actually has a very clearly defined goal that’s been stated multiple times in the games) 000
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Her romance with Rean isn’t even good because it feels like it undermines the complicated feelings she had back in cs3. Like her being mean to Rean was justified which is why he doesn’t fight it, so going “actually she was crushing on him here!” ruins it 100
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026They have Mariabell and Campanella act as her personal antagonists but neither one interacts with her often enough to make it feel justified and she doesn’t have a history with either of them to make up for it, so it feels like something they added in the last possible second for her sake 100
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026It’s even worse because they do try to give her something but fail to follow through. She has a bond event where she’s researching crossbell’s unique position to better understand what the SSS are doing and how to help and the next two are dedicated to her stupid crush on Rean 100
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Except that doesn’t work for most of cs4 since Rean is present and he’s the leader of both class viis so Juna can’t be the leader when he’s around. Which results in her feeling irrelevant when the story isn’t focusing on crossbell since she has nothing else 100
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Having her be the crossbell rep in class vii isn’t a bad idea but this has the danger of making her irrelevant when the plot isn’t focusing on crossbell so they made her the leader of new class vii 100
(*´ω`*) @sandy0grains.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Every time I remember how they handled Juna in cs4 I get angry and she’s not even one of my favorite characters 120
