@sequoiapnw.bsky.social I feel like we we have chatted before... Anyway, I appreciate that you're able to write in your accent. It makes the time more enjoyable to the voice in my head.

@arshermetica.bsky.social it's so wild, I'm in this largely successful local brunch chain and realizing that they're using all food service stuff. It's wild what a good bakery and espresso bar can conceal.

Thalia made a clothing line for U.S. Kmart in the early '00s and cross-promoted her musical career with it.

I love how verbally expressive you were. (Not sure if that's camera / mic position or you really are just better at it than so many clip posters)

This feels so "shove it in your face" kind of subversive, but also, that's where you live. 🙊 (Note, not sure my tone/meaning is clear here 😅)

I feel bad that my main context for Thalia is Kmart.

Not sure why but our Sirius XM trial was not good out here in OR. Too close to shore maybe.

I was playing one of the recently announced sales by the company I used to work for, KAUS-FM in Austin/Albert Lea, MN broadcast area. It's nice to hear short ad breaks with some clients trying their best ... (It appears they turned off the national filler ads).

Well, "country radio" has decided that the 1986-2007 or so is 'classic country' with a gold every 90 minutes or so older and about one an hour newer. 🤢

I couldn't remember then but now I think it's "Where I come from" which seems to kinda reference Louisiana to my driving ears?

I'm glad that you have coworkers that "see" you and can tell that something different is going on. Wishing you the best at this time. (hug)

Somebody else I follow just posted one of these for Jocktober and noted it was their favorite. I'm embarrassed I don't remember who.

Probably someone that supplies food producers? It's in a *lot* of things, but not sure if it's sold at the local restaurant supply, for example. Friends definitely have found ways to purchase it online.

By Langlois (cool Montreal style) or MCE Creations is a nice way to support a business run by a queer person of color.

@jerrycakes.bsky.social Been streaming some classic country lately in my car - realized one song kinda felt like your background. I never caught the trucking reference in it 'til now. 🙂
