animation will makes it’s comeback, but whatever studio can pick up the pieces where CN and Nick left off, it will need to take leadership that can learn from the past mistakes instead of choosing to continue them.

I’m not acting like Nick and CN are great studios since I’ve heard stories about how management wasn’t treating the staff well and projects constantly got screwed. But even during that time they had some hits every once in a while. I don’t know when that day will come when mainstream creator driven-

I’ll be very honest, the 2020’s era of animation feels like the new 1970’s where studios rely on IP and outsource their work and the sudden resurgence of independent studios to help rise the tides of the storm.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that Universal is actually bigger than Paramount. Especially with their theme parks.

Just saw his reply and he said he was only joking, a lot of people responded to Mr Belloni saying it’s not funny. Par themselves don’t have the money to get Universal and they’re stuck with the debt problem.

Despite all the drama from the kooky higher ups that both studios have had for almost 100 years, you are more than welcome to enjoy their movies and tv shows, as they will remain a big influence on pop culture.

I know, I am of course happy that Ellison isn’t quite close to running WB yet. And the studio has more time to breathe. The new animated projects that they’ve got coming up feel more interesting than Scoob or Tom and Jerry 21 or Space Jam 2.

If anything this is like AOL and Time Warner and AT&T all over again in that the studios will continue being independent but drama with the higher ups which could lead to yet another chapter in the Warner saga.

Read the article and am mixed about it. While I am happy that both studios will remain separate for the time being if that’s what’s going on and the court case will continue. My big concern like many others is what will happen afterwards. 1/2
