![Panel 1
Daymond is flipping through 1984 and gets a paper cut.
Panel 2
Rect: Daymond, isn't it funny how we sometimes bleed without feeling a thing til we see the wound?
Daymond: Yes, and what is your point, Rect?
Panel 3
Rect: Well, your thumb is bleeding from a paper cut right now.
Daymond: [anxiously] Don't wince, don't wince, don't wince, don't wince...](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:xfwouq4uuzwzeaajem36xla7/bafkreihhsixmxwy22hbstugfqpbukkzc7h4tztkuqbwkt5rz6wimozmeg4)
![Panel 1
Daymond: In all honesty, I fail to see the didactic merits in teaching young children nonsensical nursery rhymes. A fingerless cat being able to somehow play the fiddle while a heavy-weight species like the bovine jumps over the moon without floating out into space will deter their discernment between reality and fantasy.
Panel 2
Cow crashes into the ground.
Panel 3
Cow: Why I oughta sue those corporate kingpins for false advertising! These here springaroos hardly made it to the thermosphere.
Doggie: [rolling on the floor laughing] Any more nonsensical than a world with an ingenious dog and a duplicitous feline?
Kathy: Someone called for me?

![Panel 1
Big Ove: You'll really allow us minors to buy beer without an ID card?
Kathy: Yep
Panel 2
Big & Lil Ove get a "beer."
Panel 3
Kathy: I'd pay a tail and claw to see the looks on those gullible sprats' faces when they taste that "beer." And they say deceptive advertising is harmful.
Panel 4
Big Ove: Well, what do you know! Beer is really juice adults drink to make children jealous.
Lil' Ove: That's a real bummer. [sips cup]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:xfwouq4uuzwzeaajem36xla7/bafkreielcd37kh42tkyokh63s2vxhqxyx2x3ddwozah5t4uec7zsbrqvya)
![Panel 1 -- [Kathy is selling "Golden Bibles" on her stand.]
Man: Good day, ma'am. I'd crucify myself for one of your beautiful Bibles.
Kathy: That'll be $10, please.
Panel 2 -- Man pays Kathy.
Panel 3
Man: Thank you very much, and God bless you!
Kathy: God bless you too.
Panel 4
Kathy: God bless you for the smut you're about to endure.

![Panel 1 -- [Starr and Cil are walking through the golf course.]
Starr: "14 people reported dead after imitating latest mold eating challenge". God, social media is accelerating Darwinism to damn-near self-destruction.
Cil: What is it with you and pessimism, Starr?
Panel 2
Starr: Oh, Cil, you perpetually unjaded ray of light. Optimism is a fickle fool's game that requires fantastical delusion to survive the wave of ongoing disappointments to one's high-set expectations.
Panel 3
Starr: Now, if you're a pessimist, you come with the expectation of everything turning to shit, so when it doesn't turn out to be so shitty, you get a sensation more cathartic and pleasant than any optimist can dream of.
Panel 4
Cil: It seems more logical to approach things from a stoic perspective, remaining indifferent to whatever passes and consistently maintaining an internal sense of peace in that.
Panel 5
Starr: And tell me, where's the excitement in that?
Cil: There isn't, but that's why it's so peaceful?
Starr: Peaceful, my ass. Indifference begets complacency. Complacency begets inaction. And inaction begets recessive stagnation.
Cil: Well, you must be feeling pretty optimistic about the practicality of your pessimistic realism.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:xfwouq4uuzwzeaajem36xla7/bafkreigy6b4pnrwjyr7qpvolkpby2let52gqjxmwggs7evnx5asuvhbahm)
![Panel 1 -- O say can you see, By the dusk's perennial lust.
[The sun is setting]
Panel 2 -- The cacophony of urban commotion, To the beat of imperialistic devotion?
[crowds of people are celebrating]
Panel 3 -- Whose bloody strips and bastard stars, Through the abominable rape.
[Uncle Sam is groping an indigenous woman]
Panel 4 -- O'er complicitly we watched, Were so savagely, yeah, streaming?
[A bunch of eyes are staring at their mobile devices]
Panel 5 -- And the brownnose's red glare, The fireworks bursting in air,
[Minstrel clown with a cap saying "nigger" is licking the rich white man's ass]
Panel 6 -- Give proof through the night, That fascism was still there.
[Cross burning]
Panel 7 -- I say, does that hegemonic symbol yet wave,
[US flag with KKK masks in place of the stars]
Panel 8 -- O'er the land of the enslaved, And home of the displaced.
