For ages the balance was this- wizards makes cards for Magic the Gathering. Commander, a fan generated format, chooses how to use them and which cards to use. The problem started when wizards began making cards for *Commander* instead of for Magic the Gathering.

6-2 with Dimir Necro at NRG today for 18th. I don't think the deck is good but I had a lot of fun and I did a lot of winning. Amulet 2-1 Affinity 2-1 Esper blink 2-0 Energy 2-0 Energy 0-2 Izzet prowess 2-1 Simic broodscale 2-1 Dimir frog 2-0

It's tough loving a team that is so good yet so non-clutch. Would not recommend

I guess I will continue not to play legacy. I really really wish they were more willing to remove things from the format, I get the feeling they don't want to ban things for players sake in regards to $ but I think the format is worse for it and the player base is shrinking which feels much worse

Stitch fix has perfected girl math. They give 25% off if you keep all 5 items in the box, so it's basically always worth it to keep all 5 unless you really only like 1 or 2 things. Just every time I get a box I snap off all 5 because look at the savings!

I don't know if this particular claim is true or not but I do feel like legacy has felt like it's been one good ban away from being a great format for a while now so much so that I don't really believe it's true anymore

Trumps obsession with manufacturing has made me realize the average person has a lot of feelings about manufacturing but has never set foot in a factory. I have spent 9 years in industrial automation and I have to read the worst takes. Maybe lowest on the grievances list but is my personal hell

if you see a funny post by a woman, remember that women are not funny and she is being serious. you must reply seriously. write up a whole thread explaining her post's premise back to her, in her own replies. if she appears knowledgeable on the subject? she is not. you need to correct her.

The "free speech" crowd deporting Mahmoud Khalil for leading pro-Palestine protests at Columbia is utterly horrific. Clearly this administration is continuing to do anything in their power to silence anyone they don't like. They will take all the power they can and they will come for you next

Jesse was my first friend in magic, we hung out at scg Indy in 2019 when we were both new to comp mtg. Honestly she set the bar too high for everyone else. Obviously she is cracked at magic, but she is also the nicest and coolest person I've met in the magic community and it's awesome to see her win

I cannot believe there are people not registering breach for Charlotte. How dumb do you have to be? It's clearly the best deck. I say as I pack soul spikes instead of mox opals. My pet deck is clearly misunderstood
