Installed a mcdom ode in my FM-Towns HC. The drive it came with was spotty at best so this is a welcomed upgrade 🙏

The high speed modifiers help space notes out so they can be read. As you learn to read faster the larger spacing helps your brain to translate into touch-typing. Using sudden/hidden+ also helps with centering the playfield to where your eyes settle on the chart. Always turn beams low as possible.

I’d switch to red+ styles if you are playing PS2. There are a lot of QoL modifiers that only exist in the later releases. Infinitas is the best of all worlds these days

I use my TI voyager 200 almost daily for work. I know the calculator enough that it is easier than loading a browser and fighting wolfram alpha. For documentation I have a TRS model 100 that I draft on and send over serial to my work pc. I prefer the focus it provides as I get stir crazy writing.

Windows really didn’t adopt threaded computing until the Core era of processing. NT existed, and in the early days it supported multiple architectures. It was expensive and inefficient when compared to POSIX Big-endian processors also reigned supreme until we decided that wasting power was ideal

Thanks to @leadedsolder.com ‘s #x68000 pro pico psu pcb my machine has a nice and modern power supply! It also grounds the machine properly for the 5-15P cable that was used for power. I’ve been putting this project off for around 5 years so I’m glad to have it done!

Replacement power supply for a Sharp X68000 using a PicoPSU. PCB was designed by leaded solder. It has been wire up and placed in the chassis of the original power supply.
