Thanks to @leadedsolder.com ‘s #x68000 pro pico psu pcb my machine has a nice and modern power supply! It also grounds the machine properly for the 5-15P cable that was used for power. I’ve been putting this project off for around 5 years so I’m glad to have it done!

Replacement power supply for a Sharp X68000 using a PicoPSU. PCB was designed by leaded solder. It has been wire up and placed in the chassis of the original power supply.

I’m installing FreeBSD 2.1.0 to my PC-9821AS. It has 14MB ram and Canopus PowerWindow 928G so XFree86 should work well on it! Funny enough the installer sees the full 16GB HD but appears to only like the first 2991MB. This is a common problem on early OSes, Win9x can’t handle large partitions well.

Saw in the new Indy game they rendered Alden’s Indy boot so I had to see how true the model is. Turns out spot on! They even got the heel properly, and it appears there is a 2ND pair of shoes Indy wears. A plain toe blucher with brass eyelets, and a last that is part of the footbalance ecosystem!

@tweak62 had explained the serial number format Konami uses which made me realize that I accidentally imported the very first LDJ-era upgrade kit Konami made. IIDX Lincle came out in 2012 with this hardware. The first digit on the right is the year, group number and then serial.
