Ahhh! #AgainstTheCurrent is the #CDrama version of #TheHandmaidsTale Abused maids, plans for the master to impregnate them to cover for the wife, and women having absolutely no agency

Disappointed in the #TheEarlySpring ending. Very fast final get together and felt like she was trapped into it. Where was her whole hearted happy turn around? Maybe that’s what was lost with the cut episodes

Ahhh caught up with the latest #TheEarlySpring 😩 Do I suffer through an episode a night as they drop… or manage to to hold off and binge the run to the finale?? #LoveofNirvana needs to be more engaging to buffer for the next 4 days! 😂 #CDrama

So over random people posting requests for #CDrama recommendations. Just use ChatGPT people! Feed it your MDL ratings, favourites, drops & rage-quits and ask. The recommendations are strikingly good! Found awesome classics I’d never have started. Seriously, get ChattyG to plan your watch list!

Yes LibChengyi is scum, so is Gu Jian, Xiao Feng deserves so much better. Amazing how a bit of amnesia gives the watcher the break to keep watching… even when you know it’s a tragedy. Yeah I’m hooked, even with the weird staging and fashions #GoodbyeMyPrincess #cdrama

#theeternalfragrance is frustrating… story jumps and missing scenes. “You again” to a black bird not seen in the story so far?? 🤷‍♀️ don’t know if I should stay with it, especially with #KeytothePhoenixHeart on the horizon #cdrama

ChatGPT knows my #Cdrama taste better than I do! Punched in my watched, dropped, and on-hold list, with ratings, and got great recommendations which I’d never have discovered. Seriously better than randoms on the internet for recommendations

This has to be the funniest question AND response I've ever seen in a poll. Less than half of Republican men think they could beat Trump in a fight. What a bunch of pathetic losers.

Democratic women are more likely than Republican men to say they could win a fight with Donald Trump
Who do you think would win in a physical fight between you and Donald Trump? (%)

Bar chart shows the following think they would win in a fight vs Trump

Dem men: 82%
Dem women: 71%
Independent men; 69%
Independent women: 46%
Republican men: 46%
Republican women: 19%

I think of this quote all the time.

“When someone works for less pay than she can live on - when, for example, she goes hungry so that you can eat more cheaply and conveniently - then she has made a great sacrifice for you, she has made you a gift of some part of her abilities, her health, and her life. The 'working poor,' as they are approvingly termed, are in fact the major philanthropists of our society. They neglect their own children so that the children of others will be cared for; they live in substandard housing so that other homes will be shiny and perfect; they endure privation so that inflation will be low and stock prices high. To be a member of the working poor is to be an anonymous donor, a nameless benefactor, to everyone else.” - Barbara Ehrenreich, Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America
