Introduced my kids to debut recently and they loved it instantly. They're hard critics too. Most of it still sounds really fresh.

Excellent outing to Birmingham uni to deliver an oral history workshop and learn more about the East in West Vinyl Archive. Thousands of South Asian records salvaged from the Oriental Star Agencies record shop before it closed down: eastinwest.trueformprojects.com

Great weekend delivering oral history training for the @1in12club.bsky.social as part of Bradford City of Culture 25. Really lovely people and an important project. Got tipped off to visit the Kunafa Tea restaurant for delicious Syrian food too.

Carole King has got a cracking voice but there's definitely some autotune being chucked into the mix.

I saw someone eating raw bacon on a train recently. He was also offering it to his family who refused It. It made me upset. I wanted to tell him as I was worried he'd mistook it for ham.

Definitely maybe is mediocre at best.

Sam Smith @samglitch.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Ah they must have started making them again. Seemed weird as they are so good but perhaps the demand was too much to begin with. Kenton audio also do a midi box you can use to plug it into a normal midi keyboard if you want full size. It's kinda fun keeping it compact tho!
