Excellent outing to Birmingham uni to deliver an oral history workshop and learn more about the East in West Vinyl Archive. Thousands of South Asian records salvaged from the Oriental Star Agencies record shop before it closed down: eastinwest.trueformprojects.com

Great weekend delivering oral history training for the @1in12club.bsky.social as part of Bradford City of Culture 25. Really lovely people and an important project. Got tipped off to visit the Kunafa Tea restaurant for delicious Syrian food too.

#nowspinning whatever the weather - whatever the weather (Loraine James) I love lots of this album and the concept of it all. I think she's amazing but it's quite challenging in parts and I need to listen to it more! Definitely not bored of it yet though and looking forward to the follow up.

I love Phlegm. He's such an imaginative artist and gets everywhere. This one in Ibiza. Very proud of his Sheffield connections too.

Spent yesterday evening recording the amazing multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Draper playing cello. If you go to any open mic folk or jazz night in Sheffield, you're guaranteed to see him there wowing the audience. A huge pleasure having him play on a track.

#NowPlaying Roy Bailey - New Bell Wake I got a few records of his from my mum. Don't often listen to trad folk but have a soft spot for Roy knowing he's from Sheffield. When he sings acapella it gets me every time. #roybailey #folkmusic #Sheffield
