While I dont hate the new Link design I do think something was lost in the translation of his facial features especially. and just for fun its its interesting to compare design decisions I made for a more realistic materials Link to the official one

Oh for sure, after watching the footage I was more sold on it. With the lighting and the rest of the world it works much better. Isolated renders especially nowadays often look incredibly jarring. Wild to see all these games we grew up on in a whole new light.

It does feel like the design needs more places for the eye to rest though. Pull back a little on some spots with patterns and I think it works a bit better.

The OoT remake looks better in motion but it does cram a bit to many details. Coulda held back a bit on the main design. I'm sure it'll be fine.
