When my daughter sat her A levels she didn't think she'd be going back to school in Sept! She got into her first choice uni, decided to take a gap year, applied for a teaching assistant role in a primary school, starts today. So proud of her, it'll be challenging but fun! Any tips for new TAs? #UKEd

Not going to lie, was hard going back to work today especially when the kids are still off school. Sitting at a desk all day is not good but got out for a much needed walk along the river Thames as the sun was going down.

Recent staff sale at OUP of Oxford Revise revision guides. They’re really superb! Written by teacher authors and cognitive science experts so the contents and layout are really clear for students. The covers are lush too!
