We need to stop treating prime ministers like football managers. No one has a magic wand. The economy can’t ping back to where we want it to be immediately. Education, the NHS - all needs time and foundation building. Burnham - should he be given the crown - won’t change anything immediately either.

Today I have learned that some people think it’s okay to drive at 80mph on an M1 that is a swimming pool and no one can see more than fifteen metres ahead because of the spray. I hope they step on Lego. I hope they can never find the edge of the sellotape. I hope their tea is always cold.

I cannot express how amazed I am at the name change & different approach to PCOS. I was never fully diagnosed, suspected PCOS, told I wouldn’t conceive, no cysts, all other symptoms present. Insulin resistant & now type 2. This has taken far too long to correct. www.theguardian.com/society/ng-i...

My daughter had tricky surgery this week. Her operation was led by a woman with Chinese heritage. She was assisted by 2 men, one with African heritage and 1 with South Asian heritage. Their families would have been migrants. They couldn’t have given her better care. This is our NHS.

I left an ear infection too long. When my face felt like it was going to explode last night, I called 111. Within 90 mins I was seen by a GP at urgent care and had antibiotics. Protect the NHS. It’s remarkable in so many ways.
