I had no problem with OneDrive at all since I got it - now today I find that my entire local Documents folder on my computer has been moved to OneDrive WITHOUT consulting me or asking for my permission? At all? I have sensitive money-related stuff in that folder that I do NOT want on cloud storage!

That's a difficult question, there's so many! I would say either The Gentleman with Thistle-Down Hair (from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell) or Torrin from LD+R's Bad Travelling - both are the kinds of characters I love, not really villains but doing actions that make them seem villains.

I love the Mortal Engines Quartet by @philipreeve.bsky.social. Cities on wheels is already a fascinating premise but the array of characters that are fleshed out, pushed to their limits and defy the odds prove it's one of the most underrated sci-fi adventure stories ever.

I love Tarsem Singh's 2006 adventure fantasy film The Fall. One of the most beautiful, rich, ambitious, vibrant, enticing, wonderfully-shot, impeccably-casted, Lee Pace-studded film I've ever had the good fortune to have watched. In 4K IMAX no less.

FORSETI, the Norse god of justice and reconciliation, is the chief prosecutor of the Purgatorial Court, who had a brief affair with Helen before coming to Purgatory. Still bitter at Helen’s rejection of him, Forseti schemes to shut the 9 Circles down by whatever trumped-up charges he can stir up.

A sleazy-looking middle-aged gentleman with yellowy pale skin and brown sideburn hair. He wears an 80s orange suit with runic pinstripes & pink shirt and tie, hand in pocket and gesticulating. In his jacket pocket is an edelweiss flower.

The washed-up Greek god of travelers and luck, HERMES now works as the driver for the Erebus, Purgatory's main public transport. Hermes is also a friend of Firebrand’s and always offers a free ride on the Erebus whenever the demon needs it, especially when on extra-curricular activities...

ANUBIS & CHARON are the Egyptian and Greek psychopomps who are now Purgatory’s orientation leaders for new arrivals, ensuring they accept their second life by any means necessary. Whilst Charon is generally quite supportive - albeit naïve - Anubis is sullen, quiet and officious towards new souls.

EARQUIVER is a kappa and Bridge’s sadistic manservant, who possesses an inexplicable craving for cucumber sandwiches. Having often been bribed with his comfort food by Firebrand to look the other way with their soul quota, Earquiver is forced by Bridge to take a stricter stance with the demon.

A squat, stocky green goblin-like creature with sickly green skin with warts and cuts along its arm, olive talons on its thick fingers, with a snout nose, red eyes and a mop of emerald monk-like hair below a bright green balding head. His ears are massive, pointed and jut out from his shoulders; a gold earring on the bottom of its left. At its back, the shadow of a turtle-shell.

Wearing a ripped shirt with a black tie, it has a simple moldy loincloth by its waist. Holding a half-bitten cucumber sandwich, it grins mischievously and points to us.

BRIDGE is of the many Dukes of Hell and Firebrand’s boss, responsible for all new souls coming in from Purgatory to Hell. Enraged at Firebrand often for their double-dealings and wiry schemes, Bridge has his own troubles with Hell’s plans to take Purgatory as part of the 'War Against Heaven'.

Twin personifications of the Shinto afterlife, KUNI & YOMI serve as the Nine Circles’ waiting staff. Fiercely loyal to Helen, they also act as her personal bodyguards, although where such loyalty came from is anyone’s guess. Highly efficient at serving food, serving drinks and serving death.

Two identical East Asian women, with black greying hair tied in a bun, thin and expressions neutral. They wear teal green shirts with sleeves rolled up, bright red waist aprons, dark brown trousers and pens in their chest pockets. DIONYSUS! The 9 Circles' bartender, Greek god of wine, festivity & insanity, whose extensive knowledge of every drink known to mankind grates on any poor soul subjected to it. Despite that, he can make some of the best drinks in all of Purgatory; just so long as someone convinces him to make them.

Dark skinned, with frizzy purple hair and short on the sides, with grapes and leaves tattooed on his arms and neck, wearing pink-tinted glasses. The former Norse goddess Hel and the owner of the 9 Circles bar, HELEN is routinely faced with potential foreclosure and ruin. Sardonic and misanthropic towards most, she is only interested in keeping her establishment afloat and making sure customers like Firebrand don’t interfere in that goal.

Serving as the 9 Circles' bouncer, LOCKER is the literal personification of Davy Jones' Locker, the sailor afterlife - often having to deal with Firebrand’s antics and any problematic customers that plague the evenings. Intimidating but polite, you wouldn't want to get on Locker's stormy side.

Our main protagonist is FIREBRAND, a low-level demon working to bring gullible souls down to Hell by making them commit foolish sins. Instead, they spend all their time haunting the 9 Circles bar and trying to never set foot in Hell ever again. In their words: 'probably the worst demon to exist'.
