My cousin has a laptop that has somehow destroyed 3 SSDs. He keeps feeding it SSDs and within less than a year they start failing. He's now using an external SSD suspecting it was a thermal issue.

I moved all my friends from #Discord to #Fluxer, and it's been surprisingly seamless. We were using #Matrix for a brief period of time, but too many missing features left them wanting for more. Fluxer is basically a 1-to-1 replacement for Discord and everybody is quite satisfied so far!

Okay for the first time since 2020 I'm giving KDE a solid try outside of using it on my Steam Deck. Going to keep using GNOME with Fedora on my laptop and KDE with CachyOS on my desktop for now.

I do wish we had better "grouping" technology on the Fediverse. Something like "lists" but automatic, so that I can automatically group by platform. I'd like a dedicated list for PeerTube follows and another for OwnCast. I could do this all manually of course, but that's too much effort.
