Sal Sawler @salsawler.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Is it my algorithm or is the entirety of social media now just people saying various versions of “the world is ending”? I get the gloom and doom, but I think we can still be curious and imagine other ways of being so that maybe, eventually, we can stop being entirely gloom and doom. 372
Sal Sawler @salsawler.bsky.social · 22/09/2026This is scary for many reasons, but one thing I keep thinking is “what if the journalist was a freelancer?” So many journalists are these days, and they don’t have access to legal teams and health plans like salaried employees. That makes it riskier for them to cover potentially dangerous events. 140
Sal Sawler @salsawler.bsky.social · 21/09/2026What is happening in society that allows us to use “it’s AI” as an excuse for things we told AI to make?
